Great friend and Associate Pastor at MCC, Scott Telle, has a deep love for media. He is mastering it as a tool for the Church, and it fires me up.
Scott has dreamed of entering a film festival. Two weeks ago, he assembled a phenomenal team of writers, actors, administrators, and video peeps. They entered the 48-Hour Film Project in Indy. Here is how it works: Show up with your team, get a few specific instructions, write, gather props, shoot, score, edit, obtain copyright, burn, and return the finished product; all within 48-hours.
The result is below. Out of more than 30 entries, Scott and the team took 2nd runner-up overall and first place for best cinematography. The film was aslo featured in the 2011 Heartland Film Festival. Congrats!
