Enough Said

But when I speak to you, I will open your mouth and you shall say to them “This is what the Soverign Lord says . . . .    Ezekiel 3:27

From my journal . . . . What a great verse – and pretty sobering.  God has just finished telling Ezekiel that he will shut his mouth and cause his tongue to stick to the roof of his mouth.  Then, at the right time, God will speak, Ezekiel’s mouth will be open, and he is to speak the things that God says.

What if the only time I was allowed to speak was when I (1) listened to God then (2) spoke with the thoughts God had just given me?  I fear that my life would be  . . . silent.

I’m going to listen.  More later – when I have something to say.
