For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him. Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ. Acts 28:30-31
Paul was under arrest. He had been on trial and transported for several months. Now, although innocent, he was under house arrest for two years. His reaction? He taught and lived the kingdom. Didn’t matter where he was. Didn’t matter his circumstances. His call and mission were bigger than his location, circumstances, or vocation.
I am always waiting for things to be just right. I think “God, if this could happen, your kingdom could really explode.” Maybe God is saying “Explode where you are.” I control some of what happens to me. I cannot control everything. I can certainly control my response to those situations and my impact on the kingdom, regardless of what is happening.
God, forgive my complaining about circumstances. Allow your kingdom to explode regardless of where I am or what my circumstances are.

22 Feb 2007Lord, let us explode where we are. Even if it means starting with a spark and kindling the fire — let us work towards exploding for You! Amen.
God bless,
