Mark Me

image 4 He said to him, “Walk through the streets of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of all who weep and sigh because of the detestable sins being committed in their city.” – Ez 8

God was about to unleash justice on those who did not follow him; and even those who were not bothered by the sin that they saw.

Do I weep and sigh over sin?  When God walks my street does he find me weeping and sighing?  Does he find me bothered by what I see in some other people?  Does he find me bothered by what I see in myself?  Will he mark my forehead?

God, allow me to see things the way that you do, to sigh at the things that break your heart.  Mark me.

  1. Oh yeah…I think that goes hand in hand w/ the concept of not just\”not sinning\”,but doing \”good\”! We should not avoid the \”bad\”,it should motivate us to action!Be active in the practice of our faith, and right what\’s wrong!

  2. Thanks for sharing Pastor Scot. Here in the past few months I have been overwhelmed by seeing the wrong or sin in some other people? It happens weekly or sometimes even on a daily basis. God has been working in my life like He has never done before. Someone of the past crosses my path almost ever week, in which all of these persons I knew over 20 years ago. Each and everyone of these persons are suffering from sin. I'm praying for a miricale to happen tonight at church. I pray my forehead is marked. Thanks
