18 Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 20 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates, 21 so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land that the LORD swore to give your forefathers, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.             – Deut 11:18-21

God is giving more instructions to Israel.  He wants them to remember him.

Why is it sometimes easy to forget about God?  Maybe because there are so many other things grabbing for my attention.  I think it is our job as followers of Christ is to continually talk about God and his works.  I have some friends whose lives just seem to flow with the things of God.  Their conversation about spiritual things seem to be as natural as talking about the weather.  God is remembered. He moves.

God, thanks for the people that keep reminding me of you.  May I be a person who speaks of you freely and lives a fearless life of a pursuit of you.
