25 He answered, “Whether he is a sinner I do not know. One thing I do know, that though I was blind, now I see.” – John 9
Jesus had just healed a man who was blind. This didn’t set well with the local religious leaders. They pulled the guy aside and questioned him. I love his answer. He stated what he didn’t know, and what he did know.
There are things I don’t know. Things that are to big for my brain. Complex things that leave me baffled. Things like
- The state of the world
- The church
- Leadership
- Abuse
- Being a husband
- Cancer
- Being a Father
- Starvation
- Understanding deep theological issues
- Navigating Christianity
However, there is one thing I do know: I was once blind, but now I see.
