I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. – Ps 34:1
“How are you doing?”
Most of the time my answer has little to do with blessing the Lord. Typically I say thinks like, “Man, I am busy.” “Been a challenging season.” “I’m a bit worn out, but good.”
It is time to change the things that come from my mouth. I need to say things that bless God. When I tell people how busy I am or how tough this season is, I am trying to impress them by braggin on myself. How pitiful.
Today I will be watching my mouth. I will speak good things that show favor to God.
