World Malaria Day 2013. Bite Back.

Today is World Malaria Day, 2013.

Malaria? What’s the big deal?  Nothing really, except that . . .

  • Half of the world’s population (3.3 billion) is at risk for malaria
  • Every 30 seconds a child dies from malaria

The good news is that it is easily preventable with something as simple as a mosquito net.  In my travels to developing countries it is rare for me NOT to sleep under a mosquito net.  However, many cannot afford a simple net.  We can change that.
