You Can’t Save the World

You can’t save the world. I know you want to.  I know you think you can.  But you can’t.  However, you can save a kid or two.  A kid like Jose.  Jose is from Mexico.  He is waiting for sponsorship trough Compassion International.  You can save him.  I know that sound a little far-fetched, but here are the facts: for $38 a month, Jose can get food, clothing, medical care, and after school care in a church where he is taught Biblical values.

Hard to believe?  I was a bit of skeptic myself until Shawn W and I visited Guatemala with Compassion.  We were blown away as we watched kids slowly being changed.  Shawn ended up meeting and sponsoring a kid named Sammy.  I was already sponsoring a child named Yulissa in Honduras but then I met Roca.  He wrecked me and I sponsored him as well.

Here is the deal; a the end of the day I sometimes get frustrated because I feel like I am not making a huge difference in the world.  I have delusions that I can save the world.  How foolish,  I can’t.  However, my family is changing the world for Roca and Yulissa.  Shawn and his family are changing the world for Sammy.  So here is the question:

Will you change the world for Jose?

If so, click here.
